Publicaţii recomandate de Centrul pentru Dezvoltarea Creativităţii Studenţilor în Energetică
Într-un viitor apropiat, tehnica de informare şi calculatoarele se vor găsi în toate casele. Cartea electronică 
este un mijloc modern de comunicare şi informare. După criteriile competitive ale economiei de piaţă, prezintă o serie de avantaje de ordin financiar şi tehnic faţă de cartea tipărită în condiţii clasice. Fără a face calcule tehnico-economice şi fără a intra în detalii, acestea sunt:
preţul de cost al unei cărţi electronice este de 10 până la 20 de ori mai mic decât al unei cărţi tipărite pe
hârtie,
tipărirea / inscripţionarea pe un CD este simplă şi rapidă,
volumul CD-ului, grosimea şi greutatea sunt de cel puţin 100 de ori mai reduse decât ale unui volum tipărit pe hârtie,
transportul şi depozitarea în biblioteci a CD-ului prezintă avantaje faţă de cartea clasică.
Iată de ce coordonatorii proiectului "Universul Energiei" îşi propun prezentarea în format electronic a unor cărţi de specialitate, prezentări multimedia, reviste electronice şi biblioteci virtuale.
